Jason Colston is a Senior Project Manager with Core Project Advisory with over 25 years of experience as an electrical project and contract management professional.
With a demonstrated history as an electrician, instrument technician, contracts manager, and project manager, Jason has specialised his career in the utilities sector and has extensive knowledge in all phases of a project’s life cycle.
Recent projects on which Jason has worked include:
- SCADA upgrade project including the communication infrastructure portion
- Potable water dosing upgrades
- Water treatment plant decommissioning
- New trunk water main installation
- Airport taxiway lighting and fillets upgrade for A380
Jason’s dedication to his craft has seen him complete his Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, Dip Project Management, Electrical/Instrumentation Tradesperson, and Queensland Electrical Contractors Licence. Jason demonstrates exceptional leadership, technical knowledge, attention to detail, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate independently or with a team.
As a lifelong resident of Brisbane, Jason enjoys the many outdoor recreation opportunities that South-East Queensland has to offer, including boating, fishing, 4WDing, and camping.
Jason derives a lot of professional satisfaction from being able to help clients achieve their project goals by imparting industry expertise to them, especially when provided the opportunity to engage with stakeholders and help them achieve technical objectives.
