Core Project Advisory was delighted to be the major sponsor of the Next Generation Sunshine Coast Project Management Community of Practice’s November breakfast event “Where Project Management Intersects with Biosphere Reserves.” 

With the event falling on both International Project Management Day and the first International Day for Biosphere Reserves, over 70 Sunshine Coast project professionals, including a number of the Core PA team, were treated to presentations covering:

Observations and perspectives on the development of the practices of project management over the last thirty years, and the major trends in development of the practice over that time.  

Sunshine Coast is only one of 5 recognised biosphere reserves in Australia. How did this happen? – Dave Moore 

Insights into the successful Sunshine Coast Biosphere designation and the important role of our community has played through the management of the project. 

Nambour Waste Precinct Development – Ross Ullman 

The complex and challenging approvals process and legislative considerations to establish this program of projects and the development outcome for this expanded facility.
