Core PA hosts June Next Generation event

Core Project Advisory was pleased to host the Next Generation Sunshine Coast Community of Practice’s recent event at our Sunshine Coast office. It was great to see the evening event was well attended by 50+ people from Sunshine Coast organisations and businesses.

Managing Director, Grant Axman-Friend, presented a case study on one of Core PA’s current projects in which we are working in partnership with EnviroMaster to fulfill Australian Government Grant funding requirements for the commercialisation of a new technology, a patented Thermochemical Conversion Technology (TCCT). This technology utilises size reduction of waste, application of a fluxing solution and heat to treat asbestos waste that would otherwise be landfilled. By eradicating asbestos waste from our landfills, EnviroMaster’s TCCT facility will protect the health and wellbeing of our communities, and prevent long-term damage to our environment.

Attendees were also treated to presentations from all Next Generation Corporate Partners, showcasing the plenitude of projects Sunshine Coast businesses have completed or are undertaking.

Along with hosting the event, Core PA also provided our premises for Next Generation to hold their AGM, at which our team members Dave Mason and Elisa Caruso, were returned as the Next Generation President (Dave) and Secretary (Elisa). Core PA is very proud to support the association through our involvement on the committee as well as being a Gold Corporate Partner. This partnership helps to support the associations initiatives to promote the Project Management profession on the Sunshine Coast, collaborate and share knowledge and experiences and provide networking opportunities.

Next Generation will be holding their next breakfast event on the 17th of August, if you would like to keep up to date on event information or know more about Next Gen, contact Dave or Elisa by emailing office@corepa.com.au
