Q&A Session with the speakers

Next Generation Project Managers Inc – March Event: Climate Change and Renewables

Core Project Advisory was proud to co-sponsor the Next Generation, Sunshine Coast Project Management Community of Practice, first event for 2022 – Climate Change and Renewables.

Director Grant Axman-Friend was also the event keynote speaker for the event. Grant discussed how as project managers we have the opportunity to be in the front seat and steer changes to support a more sustainable way of life. As Project Managers , we can use our skills to simplify the complexity of sustainability theory and ensure its practical implementation, but to do this effectively and to bring it into our everyday norm, we need to make some changes to the way we view projects and measure the success of projects.

Grant provided insight into some of the thinking and tools that drive sustainable change and discussed how these will impact the discipline of project management. He demonstrated to the audience how we can make changes to the way we look at project success, which can lead the way to projects achieving outcomes that promote a healthy, integrated and resilient community that is supported by the environment and economy.

Next Generation plans to host several events throughout the year, join their LinkedIn Group by clicking here to be notified of upcoming event details.
