Dave Mason

Dave is a Director of Core Project Advisory. He is a highly motivated and experienced management professional with an extensive track record in Project Management, Strategic Planning, Property Analysis and Business Operations. The experience he has gained over 30 years in business is strengthened by a strong commitment to Clients and a passion for success.

From 2002 to 2017 Dave held senior leadership and national management roles at Core Consultants, Golder Associates, Coffey International and Carson Group. During this time, as a Project Director and Project Manager, he managed a number of significant highly complex environmental, mining and infrastructure projects, leading multi-disciplinary teams from around the world.

Prior to moving to Australia in 2002, Dave owned and managed project management and property consultancy businesses in New Zealand and South Africa. These businesses provided a mixture of business development, strategic planning, property and project advisory services to a diverse range of Government and corporate clients.

Throughout his career Dave has used his interpersonal and communications skills, together with his problem-solving ability, to successfully combine and achieve a balance between project constraints and the needs and aspirations of project stakeholders and end users.

Dave has been a keen surfer for almost 50 years although his boards have got longer in recent times. He lives on the Sunshine Coast with his wife, and on weekend spends as much time as possible at the beach soaking up the local surf scene. He cycles to keep fit and enjoys relaxing with family and friends sharing good stories, good food and good wine.
