Our Core business is focussed on Project Advisory and Project Management. We strive to understand the business and project requirements of all our Clients and we understand the need to be both strategic and pragmatic to achieve real project outcomes and benefits.

We are Sunshine Coast and Brisbane based, Queensland focussed, and operate throughout south-east Asia. Being a boutique firm with tons of experience and an in-depth knowledge of project advisory, gives us the ability to respond quickly to our Core Client’s needs.

Our Core team is made up of passionate and talented consultants who enjoy a healthy work-life balance and pride themselves on building successful relationships with our Clients.

Meet The Team

Dave Mason, Grant Axman-Friend, Andy Wyer have been appointed as Directors of Core Project Advisory with Dave taking on the role as Managing Director. The working relationships between our three directors goes back 15 years.

Dave Mason

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dave is the co-founder and Managing Director of Core Project Advisory. He is a highly motivated and experienced management professional with an extensive track record in Project Management, Strategic Planning, Property Analysis and Business Operations. The experience he has gained over 30 years in business is strengthened by a strong commitment to Clients and a passion for success.

Grant Axman-Friend

DIRECTOR

Grant is Senior Project Manager and Project Director with over 20 years industry experience in the planning and delivery of major infrastructure and building projects throughout Queensland and Western Australia. His experience is often called upon to provide expert advice with regard to disputes on project delays and to undertake project and gateway reviews and audits. Grant is a lecturer in project management and has an interest in ecological sustainable development.

Andy Wyer

DIRECTOR

Andy is an experienced project and program manager with post-graduate qualifications in built environment. He has a background in business management and holds a QBCC open builder’s site supervisor license. Andy has 15 years’ experience working across many industries and sectors and has delivered an award-winning program acknowledged by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).

Our Journey

Core Project Advisory was born from the successful project management and advisory capability of Core Consultants multi-disciplinary earth sciences business, which was co-founded by Dave Mason in late 2014.
